The Franke Triflow range was the first in the UK to combine the features of your regular sinks monobloc (i.e hot and cold water) with that of a filter tap. This removes the need to have an additional faucet supplying filtered water, which is a desirable effect especially when fitting a new kitchen. The Franke taps are incredibly well engineered, and can be seen in virtually all the major DIY chain stores in the UK. Their dedication to product quality can be seen with the housings, which are manufactured from Stainless Steel - the only commercially available system in the UK we know of which this is the case. The taps are large, heavy and designed to make a feature of what would ordinarily just be your kitchen sink - this approach has lead to Franke being perhaps the biggest supplier of sinks and taps in the UK, and certainly the brand of choice when installing a new fitted kitchen. In terms of filtration the Franke system uses Ceramic Technology combined with an activated carbon inner core, which produces a clear crisp tasting result. Franke systems are very effective at removing chlorine, sediment and particulate matter BUT they do not remove scale forming minerals (which cause scale in kettles etc). In order to do this you will require an additional housing and cartridge which we've manufactured for this very purpose, meaning two cartridge will be required, usually only once every six months. Franke Trispray Addon The TRISPRAY option with Franke products is a special hand held shower type device which is handy for washing up pots and pans, which is designed to be mounted next to your kitchen sink. Please note that the TRISPRAY option cannot be retrofitted onto a regular Franke Triflow tap - therefore if you would like the Trispray facility or may do so in the future this must be ordered on the original order.
